Shown below is the Value Proposition Map. The value proposition canvas has two sides - with the user mapping, the users understanding is clarified. With the value map, the value can be created for that user. A fit can be achieved between the two when one meets the other.
The value map describes the features of a specific value proposition in your business in a more structured and detailed way. It breaks the value proposition down into products, services, pain relievers and gain creators.

Today, most of the business industry derive analytics and insights through long and tedious meetings which at times do not give fruitful results. Some enterprises are stuck in a recurring task of monitoring and delivering insights which then get hidden in powerpoint presentations.
Dashboards focus on snapshots but not on the evolution Most of the insight delivering dashboards focus on snapshots of the visual charts or insight delivery. These cannot be further filtered to gain additional insights as most of the times they are not interactive or have certain limitations.
Charts and visuals are higher focus than the relevance of KPIs The data visualisations have a higher focus than the KPIs and what they can do for the company. In today’s business industry, setting targets and achieving them has become a vital part of the strategy process. The primary focus should be on the KPIs as that would give a proper meaning to the charts and visuals.
All enterprise KPIs not available at one place Presence of the entire list of KPIs across the enterprise is not easily available at one place along with the historical data.
Multi-platform constraint As the product is used across the enterprise, the ability to use it across multiple operating systems should be a possibility.
Manual Insights Most businesses run on generating insights manually, which is a long and tedious process. This can also be inaccurate at times.
Identifying Design Requirements.
After detailing out the problem statement, the design requirements for the product were identified.
Clean & Seamless Interface The goal of the product was to create a data-driven platform with an understandable and intuitive interface. As the product comprised of mostly data insights, it was a necessity to have consistency.
Insights from Data Visualisation The integration of charts and visuals would also be a part of the insight generation hence enriching the user experience.
Time is money The primary aim of the platform was to improve enterprise performance by providing automated insights, pushed to the user whenever necessary and to deliver data within seconds.
Storing history of KPIs Storage of the entire history of KPIs enables the user to retrieve any data value.
Data-driven product MonitorFirst is a data-driven product, so it was very important to keep in mind that at any point in time the amount of data could increase or decrease. Also, sizing, spacing, colour and the weight of the font placed a very important role in determining the level of importance.
Multi sectors possibility A possibility to use the same product for multiple business sectors such as Pharma, logistics, Finance, etc.
After understanding the users and their requirements, the Product Architecture was created which gave an idea of the flow of how the platform works.
Since Design is an ongoing process, this is how I reached the final version of MonitorFirst platform. They were iterations which were done keeping in mind the requirements of the client.
After the structure of the platform was created, the wireframes were made.
- The primary goal of the user was to see the KPIs of his/her company as easily as possible and to derive insights from it.
Final UI Screens.
After working on the wireframes, final screens were worked created. These were designed keeping in mind the requirements of the users and the TMS application.
